Located in the rolling countryside at Canny Hill, Newby Bridge  at the foot of Lake Windermere. From Windermere proceed south on the A591 to Newby Bridge, bearing left at the roundabout. Turn right after the petrol station after approximately 200 yards, signposted Canny Hill. The park entrance is about 200 yards on the right hand side.

The park was proud to be awarded a 98% 5 star rating by Visit Britain at their last inspection in August 2005. Visit Britain concluded that the park was, "A very fine park in exceptional order, enthusiastically managed and maintained - well done".

The park is open for a standard season from March to October, but does also provide an extended season which lasts until the middle of January, thus allowing Christmas and New Year occupation.. Please note holiday letting will not be permitted.
