We have a number of Caravan Holiday Homes available for hire. These are one and two bedroom luxury models together with our popular two bedroom (both en-suite), centrally heated deluxe models.

The caravans are available from the beginning of March to the end of October each year and whilst they form an ideal base for Summer holidays in Lakeland, the special attractions of Spring and Autumn should not be missed.

Special short break terms are available on the two bedroom luxury models. Further details of all these caravans may be found below.

Wasdale is a one bedroomed luxury 23' x 10' caravan holiday home for two people only comprising of lounge with dining area, fully fitted kitchen, shower room and double bedroom. It is fitted with full gas cooker, electric fridge, microwave, colour television and video player. The caravan is fully equipped including bed-linen, but not including table linen and towels.

Sawrey, Rydal, Wansfell and Torver are all luxury 28' x 12' two bedroom caravan holiday homes equipped to a similar standard as Wasdale but with two bedrooms (one double and one twin) and extra space, ideal for those seeking a little more room. Wansfell is reserved as non-smoking, no pets accommodation. Torver is reserved as non-smoking accommodation. The living area converts into an additional double bed. Gas and electricity is included in the price of all caravans.

The Langdale Supers. Our Special Holiday homes really are at the peak of holiday comfort. They provide wonderfully spacious accommodation for up to four people - and an elegant living environment with top quality furnishings, decor and extra luxury features.

For example the Langdale Super's central heating and double glazing keeps all rooms warm and cosy, day and night. Each of the two bedrooms, one at each end of the holiday home, has its own en-suite shower/toilet room plus fitted wardrobes (bed linen provided). The well designed modern kitchen comes complete with gas cooker and hob, microwave, electric fridge and ample cupboard space.

There's also a separate dining area, and a very generous and comfortably appointed lounge, complete with radio and colour T.V. and video player, in which to relax. In all, the Langdale Supers provide over 400 square feet of luxury living space - and offer surroundings which complement perfectly the splendour and charm of the Lake District itself. These special caravans are fully equipped apart from table linen and towels. Of course all electricity and gas are included in the price.

Woodland Holiday Cottage for hire has a fully equipped kitchen including a gas cooker and microwave, dishwasher, electric fridge and ample cupboard space and working surfaces. A colour T.V., video recorder and radio are located in the lounge. Each of the two bedrooms, one at each end of the cottage, has its own en-suite shower/toilet room plus fitted wardrobes (bed lined provided). All gas and electricity are included in the price and customers are invited to make use of the facilities provided in the amenity building described in the main brochure. The cottage which is fully equipped apart from table linen and towels, benefits from a recent major refurbishment.

All of our accommodation is available from 3.00pm on the day of arrival until 10.00am on the day of departure. Dogs are accepted provided that they are kept on a lead at all times, are exercised off the park and are kept off all furniture and bedding. Dogs must not be left alone in the accommodation. A cot and high chair are available on request at the time of booking at no extra cost.

The Woodland Cottage is accessible with a wheelchair using a flagged pathway to rear of cottage where a ramped double patio door leads into lounge.

The cottage is all on one level with two bedrooms each with their own en-suite shower room, the showers do have a lip which some disabled people may find rather difficult.

In our opinion severly disabled people would not find the cottage suitable.

Partially disabled, able to take a step or two should find the cottage suitable.

If your wheelchair is needed for showering we do have an amenity building on ground level (approx. 200 yards away) with large ramp access and wide door leading to wheel-in shower, toilet, washbasin plus hair dryer, free to use anytime.

The amenity building, which also includes information room, telephone and laundry room is all accessible by wheelchair.

The Park is tarmaced and speed limits of 10mph are in place.  Telephone numbers for doctor, dentist, vet etc are all to be found in welcome folders which are in the Cottage.

A bistro and small food shop is available right next door to the Park and is accessible by means of a short path with a slight incline.
