The cottage consistently receives a high grading from the English Tourism Council in the annual inspections.

The accommodation, all on one level, consists of an open plan living area with exposed beams and Lakeland stone fireplace, fitted kitchen, dining area and comfortable lounge. There are two bedrooms (one double and one twin), each with their own en-suite shower room. A patio door leads from the lounge to a private garden area.

Double glazing, fitted carpets, storage heaters and gas fire all contribute to the warm and cosy atmosphere of the cottage.
